The small charcoal grill that's perfect for picnics and barbecues on the go
The Kamado Bono Picnic Grill is a small but mighty way to bring some sizzle to summer picnics
Shoppers are going mad for a small charcoal barbecue that's perfect for picnics. The Kamado Bono Picnic Grill is only 13-inches tall and is a perfect choice for homes with smaller yards or gardens, or if you want to take your grilling on the go.
The compact cooker is perfect for small groups of people, and allows you to do a variety of cooking, including grilling on direct heat for steaks and burgers, grilling on indirect heat for chicken and ham, as well as smoking ribs, cheese, and pulled-pork, as well as the option to make soups and stews.
The brand Kamado is named after the Japanese word for stove and literally means "a place for a boiling pot". The grill is made up of heat-resistant ceramics, a fibreglass gasket seal, an iron base, and stainless steel cooking grids, as well as having its own dome thermometer to keep a track of cooking temperatures and vents to help regulate it.

The brand recommends using wood charcoal when lighting, which is placed inside the firebox in the grill. The nifty little cooker is available from Marks Electrical for £199, which can be paid all at once or in four interest-free payments of £49.75.
Alternatively, it can be bought as part of the Kamado Bono Picnic Pack, which has a cleaning brush, an electric lighter and a 10kg bag of club charcoal. The picnic pack costs £255, saving £23.97 in total.
The product has attracted rave reviews. One customer said it was a "great" grill, while another added it was "very excellent".
Another customer said: "Incredible Kamado. Bought it in the 'Black Friday' deals. I've only tried a roast chicken and it was stunning, the smell alone was worth it.
"The beauty of this style BBQ/ smoker is it was freezing outside and it didn't affect the cooking process. Easy to assemble and looks classy."
